CloudTree Desktop App is the best way to run CloudTree Admin: a dedicated standalone app with reliable local-agent access and a cleaner, focused workflow.

It is also the recommended solution for Safari users, where browser security rules can block direct local-agent communication.

  1. Download CloudTree Desktop (.pkg).
  2. Install it and open CloudTree Desktop from /Applications.
  3. Sign in and continue local-agent setup or daily admin work from inside the app.

Security Guidance

  • If macOS blocks install, open System Settings > Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
  • If needed, right-click the app in /Applications and choose Open once to approve it.
  • After approval, launch CloudTree Desktop normally from /Applications.
  • For managed systems, verify the release hash shown below before distribution.
